Vicente Santiago – Flamenco Guitarist with Over 20 Years of Experience in Spain and the Netherlands

My name is Vicente Santiago, a professional flamenco guitarist born and raised in Spain, and currently based in the Netherlands.
I began playing guitar at the age of 10 and developed my musical foundation within the flamenco tradition itself — not only through formal training, but through real, lived experience. Growing up in an environment where flamenco was part of everyday life gave me a deep, intuitive understanding of the art that cannot be replicated through study alone.
Alongside this cultural foundation, I completed my formal education at the Conservatory of Córdoba, specializing in classical and flamenco guitar, and later obtained a Master’s degree at Codarts Rotterdam, graduating with a 9.5.
As a professional performer, I have worked extensively across Europe as a soloist and in collaboration with singers and dancers, delivering high-level performances for concerts, festivals and cultural events. I have performed in renowned venues such as Het Concertgebouw and BIMHUIS, among many others.
This combination of authentic Spanish roots and top-level academic training allows me to operate at a very high professional standard — both artistically and organizationally.
Through Flamenco Nederland, I collaborate with carefully selected Spanish flamenco artists based in the Netherlands, ensuring a consistent level of quality, reliability and artistic integrity across every performance.
We understand what is at stake in a professional event: timing, communication, presentation and impact. Every detail is handled with precision, so that clients can rely on a smooth, high-quality experience from start to finish.
